Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in Chicago (LCB) and key culinary and beverage sponsors are presenting an evening of global cuisine - all for a good cause. The event will begin at 5:30pm with a cocktail reception featuring a special Oktoberfest cocktail in LCB’s Technique Restaurant. Here, guests will receive passports and will be assigned a tour guide for the six station global culinary tour. Each station will be manned by a LCB chef instructor along with students and feature three signature items interpreted from culinary greats. Proceeds from the dinner will go to the student scholarship fund, to reward three outstanding students. Guests of Le Cordon Bleu’s ‘World Cuisine Tour’ will enjoy a cocktail reception and a two hour ‘tour’ through six special interactive stations featuring representative food and a variety of beverages. The six countries visited include: Passport Stop 1. Chef John Abels - a tribute to Chef Thomas Keller & American Regional Cuisine Passport Stop 2. Chef Melissa Trimmer - a tribute to Chef Paul Bocuse & French Cuisine Passport Stop 3. Chef Gabe Alvarez - a tribute to Chef Rick Bayless & Mexican Cuisine Passport Stop 4 Chef Austin Yancey - a tribute to Chef Ferran Adria & Spanish Cuisine Passport Stop 5. Chef Wook Kang - a tribute to Chef Martin Yan & Asian Cuisine Passport Stop 6. Chef John Montanile - a tribute to Chef Lidia Bastianich & Italian Desserts The Le Cordon Bleu ‘World Cuisine Tour’ is priced at very reasonable and all-inclusive $65 (including tax and gratuity).
